Casa Royale Palio Lupa

Lupa’s symbol is the she-wolf nursing twins, recalling the legend that Siena was founded by the sons of Remus. Its colors are black and white, trimmed with orange.

Its museum treasures a photograph given by Giuseppe Garibaldi after Lupa’s 1867 Palio victory. Lupa has no allies and its historic rival is Istrice. Its most recent Palio victory was in 2018.
