Giraffa’s symbol is a giraffe led by a Moor, and its colors are white and red.

Known as the Contrada Imperiale, Giraffa received its title from King Vittorio Emanuele III after winning the Palio in 1936.

Giraffa most recently won the Palio on July 2, 2019. Its allies are Civetta, Istrice and Pantera, and it currently has no rival.
