Pepito Dinner Plate by Astier de Villatte
Made in some of the same Paris ateliers dating back to Napoleon's time; using black terra cotta clay in milky white glaze and allowing for the black to peek through ever so slightly, what’s not to cherish about these pieces? While they appear to be quite delicate, they are known for being extremely durable and are perfect for everyday use. With the exception of the items containing gold, the collections are microwave safe and can be placed into the dishwasher. Each piece is slightly unique, containing slight irregularities to create an appealing organic shape. Based on 18th and 19th century shapes, Astier is an endurable collection to be passed down generation from to generation.
